JUPITER, Fla. - - Palm Beach International Raceway today announced that Richard Philippe will pilot the No. 37 Team PBIR Firestone Indy Lights car and make his debut at the Corning 100 at Watkins Glen International on July 4, 2009.

The inaugural race of the PBIR Endurance Series started Friday with a 3 hour night event. Scott Schlesinger and co-driver David Tuaty started from the pole position, marking the third pole position for the duo, but it was Boxing Cat Motorsports that earned the podium.

JUPITER, Fla. - - Founded by AMG in Affalterbach, the AMG Driving Academy continues the global expansion to the U.S. this Fall and Palm Beach International Raceway has been selected as one of the three racetracks in the country to host the driving school.
Participants have the opportunity to get behind the wheel of several of the latest AMG vehicles and experience the fast-paced driving training program from professional racers and driving instructors.

VP RACING NAMED OFFICIAL FUEL OF PALM BEACH INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY |

Palm Beach International Raceway (PBIR) officials announced a 5-year agreement naming VP Racing Fuels as Official Fuel of PBIR, beginning in 2009. As part of the agreement, VP will be PBIR's exclusive supplier of race fuels including VP110, C12, C16, MS103 and M1 Methanol in bulk. The track also expects to add pail and drum inventory of VP's most popular specialty fuels such as Q16, U4.2, C14 and M5 Methanol. In servicing the track, the VP Southeast distribution center based in Ft. Lauderdale will staff the track full time, providing on-site technical support to racers with fuel-related questions.

WEEKEND RECAP: JON SMITH SUBS CHAMPIONS OF THE FUTURE |

JUPITER, Fla. - - Palm Beach International Raceway hosted the Jon Smith Subs Champions of the Future race at the PBIR Kart Track for the first ever night race.
On Friday, June 19, the three day event began with a practice session on the 7/10-mile track. By Saturday, the entry list for the event had grown including, karters competing in the series for the first time.
In addition to the first-time competitors, the Jon Smith Subs Champions of the Future had some top-drivers
