Saturday started out with a misty rain preventing any qualifying rounds from beginning until late in the afternoon. Once the weather cleared racing got underway, finishing most of the qualifying rounds. Sunday was a beautiful morning where racing started on time. The day yielded some incredible passes from wheels up action to wins decided by one one thousandth of a second.
The day started out the wrong way with an out of nowhere rain shower causing a four hour delay. A big THANKS! to all the racers and fans who patiently waited while the PBIR Track Prep Team got the 1320 back ready for racing. Once running commenced, fans saw fierce battles throughout the day, across all race classes. As a good rhythm began to develop, a freak power outage took out the overhead track lights, putting a brief stop to the racing action until power was restored. Racing concluded at 11:55 pm.
