Palm Beach International Raceway Summit SuperSeries Program Updates

JUPITER, Fla. - Palm Beach International Raceway would like to thank the racers who came out to race at the first IHRA Summit SuperSeries ET points race of 2019 on February 9. It was a huge success and we appreciate the support from our racers and the feedback we received.

We are always looking for ways to improve its programs and we believe the points program can be even better by making a few small improvements listed below.

• On all future double race events, we will have one timed run prior to the first race eliminations. We will then run a second timed run before the second race. The second timed run will start when first-round eliminations have completed the quarterfinal rounds and will continue between the final rounds of the first race.

• For single race events, we will run two timed runs before the start of elimination rounds.

• Whether the race is a one race event or a double race event, the second timed run will be our Dial 4 Dollars shootout. The buy-in is still $10, cash in the lanes, winner takes 60% of the purse with the balance going towards the racer’s fund.

• Beginning at the next race on March 23rd, each class will run for its own Dial 4 Dollars purse made up from the buy-ins for that class only.

• Run order for all future races will be No Box, Box, Sportsman, Junior Dragster and Street Bike.

• Sportsman Class Changes – The Sportsman class only will run ¼ mile at all points races and we will allow dial-ins of 11.00 and slower. Please note that for the Bracket (Team) Finals and the Summit World Finals, Sportsman class will be run 1/8th mile and limited to dial-ins 7.50 and slower according to IHRA class rules.
