In addition to the colossal bragging rights that are at stake for the top monster trucks, south Florida race fans will also see the battle of jet trains, “Cannonball Express” and “Chattanooga Choo-Choo” in a showdown of two of the fastest race machines on earth. These two jet-propelled dragsters produce 10-foot flames and nearly 15,000 horsepower as they approach the 300 mile-per-hour barrier and will make multiple passes throughout the night.
With a full line up for the night, the Chevy Rebellion Wheelstander will race on two-wheels and pro-mods will take to the track at high speed.
Palm Beach International Raceway will be hosting a Kids Night Party at Hurricane Grill & Wings Wellington location on Thursday October 4 at 6 p.m. before the weekend’s show. Kids eat free and will have a chance to meet “Kid K.J.”, the youngest monster truck driver in the world at 7 years-old driving his mini monster truck, Monster Bear. Families who attend the event will have an opportunity to buy one ticket to Thunder Jam and get a second ticket free.
The Thunder Jam Show takes place at Palm Beach International Raceway Saturday, October 6, Gates open at 4pm, Amsoil Pit Party 5pm and the show starts at 7pm. Adult Tickets are $20 and children tickets are $5. For more information go to www.RACEPBIR.com and for event updates follow on Facebook at www.Facebook.com/PalmBeachIntlRaceway.
