“Cadillac’s V-Series Performance Lab is all about three basic things,” said Jim Vurpillat, Cadillac Global Marketing Director. “Great instruction, maximum seat time and the thrill of driving one of the world’s fastest vehicles.”
The program’s popularity has attracted drivers from around the country to test the vehicles at Palm Beach International Raceway. For the speed enthusiast, the Cadillac V-Series Performance Lab is the epitome of putting some serious rubber to pavement with 556 plus horsepower. One driver exclaimed, “The only problem I can see with this program is that I’m afraid it’s going to be addictive.”
Drivers enjoyed Palm Beach International Raceway’s road course training because the track is challenging, yet fun because it offers drivers different scenarios to experience. Straightaway speeds on PBIR’s half-mile back straight were as high as 125 mph.

Cadillac offered nothing less than the best of the best when it came to the program in its entirety, but went a step farther in garnering instructors for the performance lab. Pirelli World Challenge Cadillac Racing Driver, Andy Pilgrim, headlined the event providing one-on-one instruction. Pilgrim has raced competitively for Team Cadillac racing a CTS-V in the SCCA World Challenge GT Series, Rolex 24 in Daytona and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
