The IHRA Nitro Jam crowded into Palm Beach International Raceway in January of this year and the event highlights can be relived , May 8, on the SPEED channel at 7:00 p.m. Eastern time.

Palm Beach International Raceway was the opening event in the IHRA season and the standard was set high. Debuting the new format, the IHRA saw a record crowd on Friday night as spectators lined the Beeline Highway to get in the facility.

On Saturday, even more spectators flocked to the facility and the participants had the opportunity to race in front of a sold out show, a first in facility history.

With nearly two dozen nitro-burning cars, side-by-side jet truck racing and a wheel-standing bus, fans were treated to a show.

“I’m excited to see it all over again on TV,” said Jason Rittenberry, President and CEO of Palm Beach International Raceway. “I know the SPEED crew did a great job capturing all of the action we had here in January. With the nitro-burning cars and the jet trucks in front of the packed stands at PBIR, it will look great on TV.”

Palm Beach International Raceway heard positive feedback from fans all weekend long with comments like “best show at PBIR ever” and “had a great time and cannot wait to go back.”
