Always a favorite in south Florida, the return of Hot Rod Sunday at Palm Beach International Raceway is going to be bigger than ever. Featuring a car and truck show with classes up to the year 1990, drag racing gamblers race, a marketplace and a swap meet – Hot Rod Sunday has something for everyone.
From the time the gates open on Sunday, August 15 at 9:00 a.m., Palm Beach International Raceway has non-stop action planned for the day. The day kicks off with a car show, featuring classes up to the year 1990. An awards presentation for a variety of classes will be held at 3 p.m.
Racing action will begin at 10 a.m. with a test and tune. Test and tune will run until 5:00 p.m. At 1 p.m., local singer Kim Percuoco will perform the National Anthem before the start of the gambler’s race.
If you’re looking for old and new items Palm Beach International Raceway has a swap meet set up and at our marketplace you can find a variety of new items and restoration parts.
At 2 p.m., the kid zone will be in full swing with a variety of games and activities. DJ Donnie Hancock will be playing a variety of the favorite classic tunes all day long.
