Palm Beach International Raceway has added a motorcycle track day this Sunday, May 2, to the schedule of events on the 2-mile, 11-turn road course.
Riders will be split into three different levels based on previous riding experience. The first level, novice, is for beginner racers only. Control riders will be on track during that time as well, to assist the novice riders and teach them fundamentals.
The next level, amateur, is for the less experienced racers and the more experienced street riders. The expert level of riders is for racers with competition licenses only.
This open track day is great for riders to get the chance to take their bikes off the street and ride them in a safe, controlled environment. It also provides the racers a chance to test and tune their motorcycles.
The gate opens at 7 a.m. on Sunday and on track action will begin at 8:00 a.m. and run until 5 p.m. Racer entry fee is $145. The gate fee is $10.
