KART CENTER ANNOUNCES SUMMER HOURS |

JUPITER, Fla. - - Palm Beach International Raceway's Kart Center today announced a summertime schedule.
Beginning in July through Sept. 30, Karting Open Practice will occur on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Arrive and Drive using the Fun Karts runs Wednesdays and Fridays from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m., Saturdays from 1 p.m. until 10 p.m. and Sundays 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
During Karting Open Practice, drivers practice with their karts. The cost is $35 and free to crew and spectators on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On Saturdays, crew and spectators pay the event gate costs.
PBIR has race kart rentals for use during Open Practice sessions. The available race karts are: Cadet/Baby Karts ($125 per hour or $35 for 15 minutes), TaG Race Kart ($245 per hour or $75 for 15 minutes) and PBIR Honda Race Kart ($125 per hour or $35 for 15 minutes) and reservations are preferred. In addition to the race kart rentals, PBIR offers professional driver coaching for $85 per hour, plus kart rental.
Arrive and Drive kart rentals are open to ages 8 and older measuring 56-inches tall. Using the PBIR Fun Karts, the cost is $20 for 15 minutes or $65 for an hour, plus gate admission. The price for Arrive and Drive is inclusive of Fun Kart, Helmet, Head Sock and Neck Collar and all drivers must wear long pants and closed toe shoes.
