If you’ve been anywhere near Palm Beach International Raceway this week, you’ve heard the rumble of the nitro cars but you couldn’t get in the gate. That will all change Friday and Saturday night when the public is invited in to hear and feel the rumble and smell the nitro of more than 15 Top Fuel and Funny Car teams.

Teams have taken over Palm Beach International Raceway since Monday, making run after run and collecting data for the 2011 season. By the time the public gets in Friday and Saturday, the teams will have a book of information and know how to tune the cars on the quarter mile, smooth concrete strip.

We’ve already seen record breaking numbers on the billboards at PBIR and the teams have said they are going all out on Friday and Saturday night for the fans. Teams included in the PRO Winter Warm-up are: Don Schumacher Racing, John Force Racing, Kenny Bernstein Racing, Kalitta Racing, R2B2, Terry McMillen Racing, Cruz Pedregon Racing and more!

Gates open at 4 p.m. each day and the pits will be open. Spectator admission for adults is $25 and $10 for children. A two-day adult ticket will $40. If you attended the Nitro Jam event last weekend at PBIR, bring your ticket stub for $5 off a single day adult ticket.
