JUPITER, Fla. - - Founded by AMG in Affalterbach, the AMG Driving Academy continues the global expansion to the U.S. this Fall and Palm Beach International Raceway has been selected as one of the three racetracks in the country to host the driving school.
Participants have the opportunity to get behind the wheel of several of the latest AMG vehicles and experience the fast-paced driving training program from professional racers and driving instructors.
As a true performance driving school, the AMG Academy succeeds the popular AMG Challenge events. In the Stage I program, drivers experience specially crafted, hands-on lessons in dynamic performance driving: exercises in threshold braking, cornering and line theory, skid control and recovery, and high speed sector training and track driving, all designed to make you a safer, better driver. Stage II builds on your skills with high-performance dynamics training, extensive data gathering and in-depth driving style analysis - and of course a lot of laps on the track.
Palm Beach International Raceway will host the Stage I Program on Sept. 22, 23, 24 and 25 and Stage II Program on September 26 through 27.
