Palm Beach International Raceway will be collecting toys for the charity Urban Youth Impact through December 15. A toy of $10 value or higher will be accepted and a free spectator ticket will be given.
Urban Youth Impact is a group that has worked in the inner-city of West Palm Beach for more than a decade. They are asking for donations of new, unwrapped toys or bikes. The toys must be appropriate, no violent or explicit toys will be accepted.
“It’s important that we give back to the community,” said President Jason Rittenberry. “Urban Youth Impact is a great organization and a toy drive is suited perfectly for our facility. I hope that everyone brings out something so we can give back to those around us in need.”
On Wednesday and Friday test and tune sessions, Palm Beach International Raceway will be accepting toys for Urban Youth Impact. The toy drive begins on November 24 and will end on December 15. Gates open at 6 p.m.
Urban Youth Impact will distribute the toys to needy families in Palm Beach County. If you have questions, please call 561.6221400.
