Quarter-Mile Test and Tune

Wednesday, May 25 and Friday, May 27 at 6pm

Palm Beach International Raceway hosts the weekly Wednesday Test and Tune.  Held on PBIR’s all-concrete drag strip, the Test and Tune is open to all makes and models.  Bring your favorite drag car to PBIR and see what it can run in the quarter-mile.  Gates open at 6pm.  Test and Tune entry is $25, crew and spectator prices are $10 and children 12 and under are free.

Family Fun Day

Saturday, May 28 at noon

Palm Beach International Raceway celebrates Memorial Day with a day-long Family Fun Day.  Drag racers can compete in gamblers races in Box, No Box, Street Bikes and Jr. Dragster categories as well as Quick 16 dragster and doorcar classes.  For those interested in drag racing in alternative vehicles, there will be a golf cart race and bicycle drag race.  Kids of all ages can play in the 135-foot inflatable obstacle course and bungee-trampoline. Spectator tickets are $10 for adults; $5 with military ID, children 12 and under are free.  Gates open at noon and racing begins at 2pm.

Go Kid Racing

Sunday, May 29 at 9am

On Sunday, MRP Motorsport will host the “Go Kid Racing kart school from 9am to 11:30am.  Aspiring racers ages five to nine learn the fundamentals of karting with classroom and on-track instruction.  Fees for children are $150 and advanced registration is required.  For more info, visit www.mrpmotorsport.com/pbir

Motorcycle Championship Cup Series

Sunday, May 29 and Monday, May 30

On Sunday and Monday, the Motorcycle Championship Cup Series takes to PBIR’s road course.  CCS Racing offers a professional racing environment for beginning and seasoned riders alike - all centered around increasing the "fun factor" in a safety-conscious atmosphere.  Gates open at 8am on Sunday and practice runs from 9am-5pm; Sunday only tickets are $15.  On Monday, gates open at 7am and practice is 8am-9am and races begin at 9:30am.  Two-day spectator tickets are $30 and Monday only spectator ticket is $20; children 12 and under are free.  For more information, visit http://www.ccsracing.us/

Drive ‘til You Drop at MRP Motorsport

Monday, May 30 at 10am

On Memorial Day, MRP Motorsports offers the Drive ‘til You Drop program at Palm Beach International Raceway. Kart racers can purchase unlimited 10 minute sessions from 10am-4pm. Pricing varies on kart:  Sodi karts (speeds up to 40mph) are $100; Rock kart (speeds up to 55pmh) are $125; Rotax karts available by reservation for $300.
