The Florida RoadRacing Series (FRS), a motorcycle racing series based in Florida, will be taking to the two-mile, 11-turn road course on site at Palm Beach International Raceway on April 17 and 18.
The FRS is a brand new competitive motorcycle racing series based in Florida. The founders of FRS, Steve and Kelly Pope, have been working in the motorcycle racing industry for more than 10 years.
“We at FRS are very excited for our first race weekend. We are bringing a new alternative, competitive racing series here to Florida,†said Steve Pope. “We chose PBIR (because) one, it’s in our backyard and two it’s one of the top tracks here in Florida and our racers love this track.â€
On Saturday, April 17 practice and endurance racing will be held. Endurance motorcycle racing consists of running more than 10 laps. On Sunday, April 18 one practice run will be held and then nine lap sprint races and 12 lap GT races are scheduled to occur.
A two-day pass for the FRS event is $30. Single day admission on Saturday is $15 and $25 on Sunday. Gates open at 7:00 a.m. each day and the on track activity will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days.
